T3 Racing Continue Young Rider Development In 2015

T3 Racing, the Triumph performance experts, will be supporting three talented young riders in the 2015 British Superbike paddock.
Freddy Pett and Sam Cox will be campaigning in the burgeoning Supersport EVO class whilst Sam Thompson will be riding in the equally competitive Pirelli National Superstock 600 series. All three riders will be equipped with the latest Triumph Daytona 675 R machinery meticulously built and prepared by T3 Racing.
As long time organisers of the Triumph Triple Challenge whilst racking up multiple British Championship titles with their own race team, T3 have amassed a wealth of knowledge about the Daytona engine and chassis. The company’s workshop based near Brands Hatch has become renowned around the world as Triumph’s official race parts distributor, sending parts and tuning engines for customers all over the globe as well as offering expert advice and services to anyone owning a Triumph Motorcycle.
Freddy Pett dominated the 2014 Triumph Triple Challenge with a riding masterclass in this restricted modification series where talent shines through. Supported by Dales Sports Surfaces, Freddy enthused, “British Supersport EVO was the next logical step up for me and I believe we have the capabilities and the Team to put on a serious challenge for podiums and race wins. Having successfully ridden the new generation Triumph Daytona 675R for the previous two seasons, it made perfect sense to stay on a Triumph and with T3 who won the debut EVO series in 2014
I cannot wait for the season to begin, the increased track time and live televised races each round plus racing at Knockhill and Assen for the first time. I’ve trained hard for to ensure my fitness is second to none and know we’re ready to go!”
Equally impressive was Triumph Triple Cup Champion (devised for series rookies)Sam Thompson who will be riding in the Pirelli National Superstock 600 series in 2015. The nineteen year old explained, “I’m really happy the experts at T3 Racing have prepared my Triumph 675R for Superstock 600 within the BSB series. Pre season testing has gone really well and the bike feels so much better with the engine upgrades and new suspension. Entering a couple of club meetings we finished off with pole positions and race wins in both dry and wet conditions. I love the bike T3 Racing have prepared for me and will be looking to be consistently at the sharp end this season, getting in front of some riders in far bigger teams.”
Continuing the TTC heritage, fourth placed man in the series Sam Cox will also be running under the T3 banner backed by famous Triumph dealership Jack Lilley. Having recently dominated the Hottrax club event at Brands Hatch, Sam said, “Initial trials on the bike have been good, I’m now simply getting used to the new gearing set-ups with the increased performance and the new 428 kits, after that we shall see what the first BSB meeting at Donington will bring. I’ve some great support this season and I’m really grateful for all those that have come together to make this happen, it would be great to take a double podium with Freddie Pett, two ex TTC riders together!”
T3 Racing owner Tony Scott summed up Whilst we may not be in attendance as a team this year, we are really pleased to be assisting a number of ex TTC riders with our engines and technical support. Freddy Pett, Sam Thompson and Sam Cox will all be back onboard their T3 powered Triumph Daytona 675’s in both the Supersport EVO and Superstock classes. We would like to wish them the very best of luck for 2015 and early signs are indicating that some great results are on their way.”
