The Ace Cafe T3 Racing team are ready to take on the Snetterton 300

The Ace Cafe T3 Racing team are more prepared and raring to go than ever before this weekend as they get ready to take on the Snetterton 300 circuit in Norfolk.

In practice this morning Guiver came 17th fastest with a 1:55.009, a promising start. Last week, the team managed to get some vital testing time in at the circuit and they were really pleased with the results. Team manager Ricky Chadwick explained:

“We had a great time testing at Snetterton and made some really positive advances with the bike. We now have a good base setting that Rob is happy with and we’re all looking forward to this round.”

Rob Guiver has had a tough couple of rounds with minimal testing and problems on track where neither himself or the team were to blame. It was a frustrating time for all, but when he spoke to us he was feeling positive about this round and said things are looking up:

“I’m feeling good for this weekend, we’ve got a setup which works for the meeting already and it’s going to be sunny so it should be a better race for us!”

Now five rounds into the season, the team have made huge strides each meeting despite having problems. This weekend they are hoping for a clean run with no incidents so they can demonstrate what they’re capable of.

The team who had never worked together three months ago are now stronger than ever. Since working through problems early in the season they now feel prepared to take on the remaining rounds, plus with their success at the Isle of Man TT they know what the bike is capable of. Tony Scott, Ace Cafe T3 Racing team principal, commented:

“I’m immensely proud of the work these guys have put in. Testing has gone well and the weather is fantastic, that may cause some problems with tyre choice but the most important thing is Rob is feeling comfortable on the bike.”
Mark Wilsmore, MD of Ace Cafe London, commented on the atmosphere within the team:
“It’s great to be part of something where everyone is genuinely excited about what we can achieve. Everyone in the team is so dedicated and determined to constantly improve, we’re looking forward to a great weekend.”

They will be racing at 15.45 on Saturday and 15.40 on Saturday. Follow@T3Racing on twitter or find us on Facebook for updates across the race weekend.
